Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint ‘PK_ModelElementData_ElementHandle’ error installing some hotfixes on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 

Greetings all, I want to pass along some information about a scenario where some customers have recently been unable to install some of our hotfix packages for our Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 release.

Unexpected Compiler Errors installing Cumulative Update 7 for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 

With the release of Cumulative Update 7 (CU7) for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, users upgrading from a previous Dynamics AX 2012 R2 version may experience compiler errors on a few forms which were not intentionally modified in the previous version. These compiler errors may appear on the following forms – SalesTable, SalesQuotationProjTable, and SalesQuotationTable.

Updated documentation available for in-place upgrade from Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics AX 2012 R2 

After some very good learning about what we were missing in our original in-place upgrade documentation, we have made some changes to the In-Place Upgrade instructions to help with some of the challenges partners and customers have been running into.
