Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog

Inspiration, creativity, innovation – attendees saw these three forces in full display during last week’s International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago.  I was fortunate enough to attend, along with more than 77,000 others who gathered at the McCormick Place to learn about the latest technologies that support business development, workforce efficiency and productivity for the manufacturing industry. Walking the expo floor, I felt great pride in seeing how many of the exhibitors were using Microsoft technologies to run their businesses.

It was also heartening to see many of our existing Microsoft Dynamics customers come by our booth and share how they have been leveraging our solutions in their business.  The Microsoft team also met with hundreds of prospects at the event.  As Global Industry Product Director Manufacturing, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, I have a vested interest in helping companies gain more functionality from their software, and therefore was eager to show attendees not only how easy and intuitive the Microsoft Dynamics user interface is, but how implementing Microsoft Dynamics products can help maximize IT investments to deliver more value for their businesses.

Luckily, Microsoft Dynamics partners Columbus IT and First Tech Direct joined the Microsoft team at our booth, where attendees learned about the simplicity inherent to  Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions and how those solutions can improve business processes and planning, allowing them to strengthen their customer relationships. I know firsthand that attendees walked away inspired to re-examine their IT investments to see how Microsoft Dynamics products might benefit their businesses.

Special thanks to Columbus IT, First Tech Direct and the entire Microsoft team in attendance for inspiring attendees to think creatively about ways Microsoft Dynamics solutions can breed innovation within their companies and provide tremendous return on investment.

Best Regards

Rakesh Kumar, Global Industry Product Director Manufacturing, Microsoft Dynamics ERP
