With just a few days before we hit the ground at Convergence 2014 Europe in Barcelona, we’ve already started to celebrate and recognize this year’s Customer Excellence Award winners. These inspirational customers were chosen from a diverse list of companies that underwent several rounds of selection based on specific category criteria, such as Business Visionary, Ongoing Evangelism, Customer Care and more. They aren’t just using technology to better serve their customers — they’re evolving their businesses, leading and transforming their industries, and providing customers with efficient and more personal experiences.
We’ll be sharing several in-depth customer stories next week, but here’s a teaser of what some of this year’s winners are doing with Dynamics:
North South Wines is a U.K. startup and winner of the Customer Excellence Award for Technology Innovation: Small and Medium Business. Working with Microsoft partner TVT Cloud Ltd., the company is using Dynamics NAV 2013 and Office 365 on Microsoft Azure and has already seen significant benefits since its implementation in May, including instant access to company data for its employees when working remotely. Speaking to the company’s experience with Dynamics NAV, North South Wines finance and operations director Hamish Gillespie noted, “Our customers have high expectations. Implementing a cloud-based solution avoids the need to invest in IT infrastructure, and it means we have a solution that can quickly adapt and scale to projected growth.”
Victrex is this year’s winner of the Customer Excellence Award for Industry Excellence: Manufacturing. As the world’s leading manufacturer of high performance polymers, Victrex needed technology that would help uncover and facilitate new business opportunities and insight, and increase productivity through easy adoption and immediate use. Partnering with Zero2Ten and IBRL, Victrex chose Dynamics AX and Dynamics CRM. It has already seen an increase in productivity, as well as a 13 percent revenue increase in the first six months of 2014, compared with the same timeframe in 2013. James Fleming, group IT director at Victrex, said, “I love to deploy software solutions that make my colleagues’ lives easier.”
Other amazing companies and their partners who won Customer Excellence Awards this year include Carrefour/Avanade; Capital Markets Authority/Attain Enterprise Solutions Ltd.; Sodexo/Avanade; Marston's PLC/The CRM Business; Aleksandar Totovic/NPS d.o.o.; First National Bank/Mint Management Technologies (Pty) Ltd.; Witlox van den Boomen/Ctac Dynamics B.V.; Coviran/Prodware; Flogas/eBECS; Ingram Micro Inc./Tribridge; and Metro Bank/Ciber, Uk Ltd.
