Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 combines a major release of our core online and on-premises software with new licensing offers for Marketing and Customer Service users, and new CRM Online purchasing options for Office 365 customers.
On December 1, we released Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 for general availability, our largest and most comprehensive customer engagement offering for online and on-premises customers. As always for on-premises releases, Software Assurance is required for on-premises customers who would like to upgrade to the new software version.
New Pricing and Packaging for Office 365 Customers
As previously disclosed in our Worldwide Partner Conference blog, in October we replaced our successful Sales Productivity promotional pricing on Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Professional with a more permanent, programmatic license, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Add-On to Office 365. Priced at $50/user/month, a 23% discount off our regular price of $65 for CRM Online Professional, this license is available as an add-on to Office365 Plans E3, E5 and Business Premium. When combined with the new Office365 Plan E5, mobile sales teams will have access to the full suite of salesforce automation, productivity, security, compliance, business analytics and mobility capabilities needed for Sales Productivity solution.
More Great New Capabilities
Following our recently completed acquisition of FieldOne, we recently announced that FieldOne, from Microsoft is now available for purchase. Prior to its full integration into Microsoft’s full contractual and technical estate, organizations interested in acquiring FieldOne capabilities are encouraged to contact their Microsoft representative to learn more about packaging and pricing options.
We are introducing several other capabilities and licensing changes to our Service workload. The new Interactive Service Hub, a powerful purpose-built User Interface for customer service applications, will be available both online and on-premises at the Basic CAL/USL level and higher. CRM Online Professional will gain Knowledgebase authoring rights. New voice of the customer functionality will be licensed via Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Enterprise when it is released in the coming months.
We are introducing Mobile Marketing, a new add-on license for Microsoft Dynamics Marketing. This feature adds SMS text messaging to the channels with which Microsoft Dynamics Marketing is able to reach customers. Mobile Marketing will initially be available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Singapore, with additional geographies coming in the near future. This Add-On is priced in packages of 10,000 outbound SMS credits. Pricing varies by geography, due to local SMS messaging rates and regulatory requirements.
These are just some of the new capabilities being delivered to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and CRM Online starting in December. We’re really excited to share these new capabilities and purchasing options with our customers and partners, and look forward to hearing your questions and feedback.
