Like our new look? It’s thanks to Aaron Elder from Invoke Systems. It’s a little poetic to have someone who guided the look of our product for so long make our blog look pretty too.
I think of our change as a new party dress. Six months ago today, we embarked on our fool-hardy blogging adventure. We planned to post daily and I was pretty sure at the time that we were being a tad over-ambitious. Still, it seemed like a worthy stretch goal. I’m not going to say that it has always been easy (and I’m sure Jaag’s not going to say it either), but we’ve managed it, and had a lot of fun in the process. We’ve had almost fifty people contribute, including a bunch of “Guest Stars” from outside our product team. We’ve posted every single work day (and have hoped you’ve overlooked those rare occasions when we’ve posted the next day and back-dated J). And we’re seeing readership numbers that make us simultaneously astonished and skeptical.
We really enjoy putting together the information that we post. It gives us a new avenue to share our knowledge of this product and the stuff that we’re working on, and a new way to interact with our customer and partners. It also makes us stop and think about the things that we’d assumed are well-known. We find the feedback and comments very interesting and useful.
As an anniversary present, our gift registry says that we’d like more feedback about the blog. What do you like about the content? What do you hate? What would you like to see more of? (Bearing in mind that I promise you we’ll tell you lots and lots about Titan just as soon as we’re allowed.) Let us know in the comments to this post, and we’ll do our best to incorporate your feedback. And if you think we’re practically perfect in every way, let us know that as well – it too will make us astonished and skeptical. J
Thanks for reading.
