Jim is the manager of the Microsoft CRM SDK Content team. This is the team that writes prepares and publishes content for developers. See our portal at http://crmdevelopercenter.com.
After 8 years teaching in Japan, Jim started working with CRM as a technical support engineer at Onyx in 1998. He moved into the training team at Onyx and then joined another local software company to help with their CRM implementation project. Jim joined Microsoft in 2002 in order to work with Microsoft CRM. He developed training content and certification exams for Microsoft CRM 1.0, 1.2 and 3.0. Jim proposed and developed the first Extending Microsoft Dynamics training course for CRM 3.0.
Since joining the Community and Content Strategy team, Jim wrote help content and resource center articles for the customization area of the application for Microsoft CRM 4.0. For Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Jim joined the SDK content team to work on content for Solutions, Form Programming and customizing the ribbon, amongst other topics.
Jim lives in Sammamish with his wife and son. When not spending time with them he likes to fish, read history, and write tools for Microsoft CRM.
