I am often surprised to find a coworker or family member who doesn’t use the Internet Explorer RSS or really simple syndication tools. Using RSS I am able to click on my favorites (see one below), select feeds, and see which of the many blogs I follow have new content. The old way of doing this was to visit each blog and visually inspect the site for new material.
To add a feed to your list of favorites just select the RSS button (see two above) and follow the prompts. Remember, you can rename the favorite. For example the Fluffy Goodness and other Random Niceties can become a more descriptive ‘Bob Frank’ link.
It’s just that simple and the correct use of the RSS feature could save you a lot of time.
