No matter how hard writers and editors work to get our content just right, Help is often outdated as soon as a product is released. Someone fixes a bug three weeks before release – long after Help was locked down – and a new required field magically appears on a form. The team decides that a cool new control should appear on all the toolbars, not just the ones where we’d documented it in Help. All these late-breaking changes benefit you, our partners and customers, but it means Help isn’t as helpful as it could be on Day 1.
So I’m as pleased as a geek on the first day of school (that was me!) to announce that Help update 4.1 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 is now available for download from Microsoft.com.
This update addresses all those last-minute product changes, along with fixes based on early feedback from customers – all of you who send us comments and suggestions through the form integrated into each Help topic. (And we really do respond personally to each piece of feedback.)
The update is available as an installable package in three delicious flavors:
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 server (32-bit)
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 server (64-bit)
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Outlook with Offline Access
For our next update to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Help, we’ll be incorporating even more feedback from customers and partners as more of you come on board the unstoppable Titan Train.
In the meantime, enjoy!
