Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations is now available for download as part of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of products. Dynamics 365 brings the look and feel of our business applications, and the way they integrate with each other, closer together. Please see the complete blog post.

This release includes a new header for the Operations client that lets you cleanly switch between Dynamics 365 apps, link to the Microsoft Office 365 waffle, and access AppSource, so that you can retrieve more apps as you require. A Dynamics 365 home page now surfaces tiles for all production instances of Operations’ that are available to a tenant. All new plans for Dynamics 365 are also now supported.

Lifecycle Services will serve as the admin portal for Dynamics 365 for Operations, and also for current Microsoft Dynamics AX offerings. You can access the Dynamics 365 environments by clicking the Office 365 waffle icon in the upper-left corner of the page.

A 30-day trial of Dynamics 365 for Operations is available through a simple email sign-up. A Getting started guide that is included in the trial version provides a step-by-step task guide that lets you see specific scenarios in action. The product is available, so that you can explore and go through scenarios. Demo data is included to help make the product easier to use and make the experience more meaningful. A reminder email will be sent three days before the trial expiration. At that time, you can complete the purchase.
