We've had a number of requests over the past few months for more information on disaster recovery guidance for working with AD RMS deployments and to that end, we've got some good news to report. In researching with some of our partner teams within Microsoft we came across a guide that had been written in early 2011 by one of our technical leads, Prasada Meegada, who works in Microsoft India at the Bangalore location. After it made the rounds here, Enrique Saggese (our resident expert reviewer), agreed it was "quite good" and much more thorough than previous efforts to cover this area of the documentation. Enrique only had a few suggestions to make it full and complete and ready to stand as the final word on AD RMS disaster recovery and Prasada was more than happy to make those changes and I am pleased to say that the updated guide is now live and ready for your enjoyment on the TechNet Wiki.

And if you are looking for how to get started preparing for disaster recovery with AD RMS, our CSS lead, Eddie Bowers, crafted a nice little article as well that offers some "EZ" 1-2-3 "how to" tips for you to get started here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/8059.disaster-recovery-preparation-f...

Don't wait until a disaster strikes your AD RMS deployment, find out what you need to have a good plan in place today!
