We are excited to announce that Azure Active Directory Application Proxy will be generally available starting December 11th. This new module, available for Premium and Basic editions, allows you to publish web applications hosted on-premises through Azure Active Directory. Now your on-premises web apps can be delivered in the same way as a SaaS application, ensuring a cohesive and smooth experience for your end users. Updating at Lightspeed

Our engineering teams are continually focused on rapid innovation. On December 11th, more features will be generally available or in public preview. These newest releases are just a few of the great things that are slated to be released in the coming months.  

Password writeback from Azure Active Directory to on-premises directories via Azure Active Directory Sync is generally available.

Administrative Units public preview– Allow password and user management to be delegated to individual users in an Azure Active Directory tenant

Any password single-sign on based SaaS application can now be manually added by Azure Active Directory administration, even if it is not included in the Azure Active Directory Application Gallery. This feature is in public preview

Security questions as an option for secure self-service password reset is also coming in public preview.


Enterprise Mobility
