Last week in Washington D.C., we held Microsoft Inspire, our premier annual partner event. This year’s event was a huge success, with over 17,000 attendees joining us from 140 countries. A big thank you to all of the Enterprise Mobility + Security partners who came out to spend the week with us!
As we mentioned in our

. We had many engaging conversations with our partners throughout the event, and there were a few key topics that we heard repeatedly:

. We had many engaging conversations with our partners throughout the event, and there were a few key topics that we heard repeatedly:
- Excitement around Microsoft 365 . During Monday morning’s keynote, Satya Nadella unveiled Microsoft 365 , a new offering that brings together Office 365, Windows 10, and Enterprise Mobility + Security. The EMS partners that we spoke to were very excited about the potential of Microsoft 365, and were eager to learn more about the offering and start having conversations with their customers about how Microsoft 365 can help empower their digital transformations. - Security is top of mind . Many partners we spoke to were very enthusiastic to work with Microsoft to help keep our joint customers secure. Particularly, partners were interested in learning about One Microsoft Security , our unique approach to security and better understanding the power of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Graph . Partners left the event excited to discuss the power of the graph with their customers. - GDPR and Compliance . One item that came up repeatedly in conversations with our partners was the importance of GDPR and compliance. The GDPR enforcement date is now less than a year away, and many of our partners felt that their customers still had a lot of work to do to comply.
