Last year we started a Service Manager #LyncUp, a monthly “Lync” call where community members could communicate and network in an open forum. The idea was to eliminate predetermined speakers and agendas, with a goal of creating a location for community members to network and communicate ideas and solutions. Microsoft, acting only as a broker, supported the calls by having our internal communities and product team members join and participate.

Based on community requests, the inclusion of upcoming MVP User Groups will begin and promotion of community sponsored events with open invitation globally will be included.

Plan: Grow out and standardize the #LyncUp! by providing both a tag on our System Center Blog (view tagged posts here) and a Twitter account you can follow to find out about all of the happenings.

Starting off 2014 we have reestablishing the Service Manager #LyncUp – SM call. This will take place on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9:00AM (PST) to 10:00AM (PST). You can select the meeting file below to add this to your calendar and the first #LyncUp – SM call is on January 21st 2014.

If you are going to use Lync, remember to download and install the Lync Attendee client or Lync client ahead of time!

Any changes or updates to the calendar will be tweeted and posted on the blogs. I highly encourage you to email or tweet other technology sessions you would like to see in the near future.
