Excited to join our colleagues at IACP in San Diego

Microsoft is proud to be a platinum sponsor of the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference and to support the thousands of law enforcement officers meeting in San Diego, California this week to further IACP’s mission of serving the global law enforcement community. We are displaying Microsoft and partner cloud-based city preparation and incident response solutions that deliver cutting edge, intelligence-led first response capabilities and are presenting sessions on “Cloud Best Practices for Law Enforcement,” “Leveraging Modern Technology for Better Incident Response,” and “Transforming Communities Through Intelligence-Led Policing.”

Cloud-based solutions offer enormous advantages in storage and compute capabilities, and give law enforcement officers access to higher-level workloads such as machine learning and advanced analytics to find correlations for contextual and situational awareness to build a complete intelligence picture. And while advanced capability is a must, so is security. Any cloud solution used by law enforcement must be secure and must meet required certifications. Microsoft Azure is the leading cloud platform in security, privacy, transparency, and compliance and the first hyper-scale cloud to be meet the standards of the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) and is now CJIS-compliant in 23 states. Microsoft is chosen by law enforcement agencies around the world for its security.

The Microsoft patrol car is being displayed and we are showing how the intelligence-led first response platform brings cloud connectivity and partner solutions to any first responder car, boat, or vehicle. Our leading partners, including Genetec, Getac, PredPol, TASER/AXON, and VIVEU, have solutions embedded in the Microsoft patrol car and are on hand to showcase their solutions and how first response vehicles can become extensions of a full command center.

Microsoft will host a VIP Open House Monday morning at IACP to present the patrol car to guests, and give them the opportunity to learn more about its functions and capabilities. Microsoft is trusted by law enforcement agencies to provide a secure and responsible cloud for solutions that digitally transform first response capabilities. Visit us at IACP in booth #2531 and learn more about Microsoft Public Safety solutions.
