It’s the time of year again, when industry leaders from around the world pack their bags and travel to Hannover, Germany from April 13-17 for one of the world’s largest industrial fairs of the year: Hannover Messe 2015. We are especially looking forward to this year’s event because Microsoft will have a significant presence at the event, with many exciting activities and surprises planned for you! Our two-story booth, which we are proud to say is one of the largest at the show, will be located in the Digital Factory Hall 7, Booth C48, and will be busy with engaging demonstrations, rich content, plenary sessions, executive briefings, giveaways, and more.

The introduction of the Internet of Things (IoT) and services is ushering in a fourth industrial revolution coined Industry 4.0 – which will be a popular topic at the show. And we want you to get inspired with our own Industry 4.0 booth tour, where Microsoft and select partners will be showcasing an end-to-end integrated industry experience that will show you how to not just capitalize on IoT, but create superior value through building the Internet of YOUR Things.

At our booth, one of our industry leaders will host you and your colleagues through an immersive demonstration about how connecting equipment to the cloud is fostering the transformation to a digital and networked integrated industry – changing the way we produce, service, sell, and design.

You’ll have the opportunity to see first-hand what’s possible for integrated industry digital transformation through day-in-the-life experiences in core functional areas of the value chain, including: Connected Product Innovation; Connected Operations; Connected Marketing, Sales and Service; and Connected Customer Experiences. We’ll show you innovative business models across Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, and Consumer Electronics.

We will also demonstrate how we are helping customers leverage IoT to build on existing systems and infrastructure for big impact. Manufacturing and Resources companies will no longer compete over what products or features they offer but what business models they can pursue. We provide the technology backbone that allows manufacturers to drive new customer experiences; develop new business models to seize new revenue streams; and establish systems of record, engagement, and prediction to transform from a product-centric to service-centric business model. So come to our booth and check it out for yourself!

Also in our booth, Microsoft and industry leaders, including partners, customers, and Microsoft Research and Data Scientists, will host an exciting series of plenary sessions in our theatre.

Our device bar will showcase the latest and greatest devices that will leave you spellbound! Specialized form factors that meet the needs of Manufacturing and Resources companies will be on display, including field ruggedized devices and the latest apps.

I also encourage you to schedule time to meet with Microsoft executives to discuss your transformational journey and see how we can help you. Some executive briefing topics include: Transforming Your Enterprise with the Internet of YOUR Things; Windows 10 Update for Industry; Industry 4.0: Reimagining Manufacturing, One Customer at a Time; and The New Frontier: Business Insights.

We invite you to join us for this important event and start your own journey of digital transformation.
