We are just a few days away from one of the most important industry events of the year, the Hannover Messe 2016 industrial show, to be held 25-29 April in Hannover, Germany.

Last year, to illustrate the true potential of IoT, we were truly honored to have more than 35 industry partners and customers come together to demonstrate how the Internet of Things (IoT) and Microsoft technologies can help manufacturers unlock business value and new revenue growth opportunities.

Examples of digital transformations from companies including Fujitsu, KUKA Robotics, Miele and Qoros Automotive in the fields of robotics, smart factories, connected homes and vehicles took center stage in our booth and clearly stole the show.

And this year will be no exception!

We are looking forward to meeting you at Hannover Messe 2016 to show you the latest innovations and best practices that will inspire and empower you to embrace the digital transformation that continues to revolutionize the manufacturing industry today.

Digital Business Transformation in Manufacturing: 26 April, 12:30-13:00 CET

I invite you to join me on 26 April from 12:30-13:00 CET in Hall 8, Booth D19 for an exciting discussion on Digital Business Transformation in Manufacturing. I will share insights around how, as Industry 4.0 is changing the world around us, we need to prepare now for new ecosystems of intelligence that improve the way we work and live. This intelligence revolution starts today with business. As we saw with the agricultural revolution, industrial revolution, digital revolution and now with Industry 4.0, Microsoft believes it is intelligence that will most significantly disrupt and create the next revolution in business. I will share real-world examples of digital business transformation in manufacturing enabled by ecosystems of intelligence: bringing together intelligent systems (of services, people and things) to benefit how we work and live. Mark your diary to join me for this important discussion. You can learn more about my session here.

My talk will help to set the stage for the showcases we will be demonstrating at this year’s event that bring to life the ways in which solutions have evolved to be more intelligent, and how innovative manufacturers are using these advancements to gain valuable insights for big business impact in areas like production operations and industrial services; marketing, sales and customer experiences; and research, development and engineering.

You will want to plan for our key showcases at the Microsoft booth, Digital Factory, Hall 7, booth #C40. And be sure to watch the keynote from Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on 24 April. You can watch live or on-demand here.

It’s also not too late to schedule a one-on-one briefing with Microsoft executives, product team leads, industry experts, and sponsoring partners to explore specific ways of designing your digital transformation path. Visit us at our booth to discuss your customized briefing.

You really don’t want to miss the exciting innovations, presentations, and best practice sharing that we have planned for you.

We hope to see you there.
