Microsoft Secure

USA 2012As you know, we reached our 10 year milestone in January for Trustworthy Computing (TwC) and, at the RSA Conference next week, the leader of our TwC group, Corporate Vice President Scott Charney will be delivering a keynote on how computing and society has changed over the past 10 years and what he views as the strategic changes that we (they industry) must embrace in order to provides secure, private and reliable computing experiences for citizens around the world.

So, next week, I’ll be making the annual trek down to San Francisco to RSA Conference 2012 and this year is a little bit different.

Along with all of the other usual fun stuff, my team will be hosting an industry appreciation party to show our thanks to all of the great industry partners and collaborators that have helped put security & privacy first for customers over the first decade of TwC.

If you believe you meet that criteria, and you will be at RSA, then I’d like to invite you to join me at the party with several hundred of your closest industry friends.

Note that you can’t just show up, as there will not be a list at the door. You must have an entry “coin.”

If you haven’t yet received an invitation, but want to get your pass to the party, you need to take action.

1.  Get on the list.  You can do this by contacting me by email, if you have an email address for me.  If you don’t’ have that for me, but have another contact here in the TWC, security or privacy group, then email your contact and get them to mail me and vouch for you.  In your email, include your name, email contact, company affiliation and a couple sentences telling me about your industry role in helping create trust in technology.  There are other alternatives to email as well:

  • Follow me on @securityjones and send me a DM with the same info.
  • Connect with me on LinkedIn and send me a message.
  • Connect with me on Facebook and send me a message.

2.  Once you get on the list, you should get an email invite that looks a lot like the above image.  This is your confirmation.  Please RSVP.

3.  When you get to RSA, you’ll need to stop by the booth and pick up your entry “coin.”  Coin-less individuals will not be able to get in the door, sorry.

We are LIMITED on the number of people we can invite, so first come, first serve!

I look forward to seeing you all there!
