Microsoft and Hortonworks are collaborating on a series of live webinars. The series will feature four different webinars, with the first one to be held on 21 February 2017, 10AM (Singapore Time).
The first of the series of webinars is on Accelerating Big Data Collection for Azure Cloud, presented by Sean Roberts (from Hortonworks) and Ben Sadeghi (from Microsoft).
Here’s the webinar description from the Hortonworks website:
“In the latest Forrester Wave report for Big Data Hadoop Cloud Solutions, Microsoft Azure came on top beating some very esteemed vendors. Learn how to complete your big data solution and join Microsoft and Hortonworks as we showcase Hortonworks DataFlow and how it complements Azure HDInsight enabling users to easily move their data to the cloud for production, disaster recovery or development uses.
“Powered by Apache NiFi, Kafka and Storm, HDF collects, curates, audits and delivers real-time data using a simple end-user interface unblocking customers from analysing their big data in Microsoft Azure.”
On the live webinar, the presenters will cover the following topics:
- How to ingest a variety of data sources from a selection of source systems using HDF.
- How to feed the data to HDInsight cluster on Azure.
- How to easily display and interrogate those data sources once they have been ingested.
