Container Camp - Australia From the 22nd to the 24th of May 2017, you can join various container experts for three days of technical talks, workshops, and demos covering all major platforms at the SMC Centre in Sydney, Australia.
Whether you are a newcomer or an expert container user, a startup founder or an enterprise, you can learn something new about container technology at Container Camp AU 2017.
The event will include 25+ sessions on the latest technology solutions, direct access to leading container experts, and training sessions for all ability levels. You will hear local and international technology leaders share their container stories, as well as gain insights into best practices and the latest container adoption frameworks.
Microsoft is delighted to participate as the Platinum sponsor at this year’s Container Camp AU. As container orchestration adoption in the enterprise accelerates, offering increases in agility and flexible deployment, we are looking forward to engaging with the engineering community and sharing Microsoft Azure’s unique capabilities.
We are excited to announce that the opening keynote will be delivered by Brendan Burns, co-founder of Kubernetes, and Director of Engineering at Microsoft, where he is responsible for leading the Azure Container Services and Azure Resource Manager teams. In addition, we encourage the community to join us for two free workshops on Monday the 22nd of May. The first is run by three local Microsoft partners (Industrie & Co, Vibrato, Levvel) covering container adoption in the enterprise, and the second is an active communal engineering session with Brendan Burns.
Some of the other distinguished speakers include Michelle Noorali (Software Engineer at Deis and core maintainer of the Kubernetes Helm project at Microsoft). Visit the Container Camp event website to see the complete list of speakers and workshops.
You can also visit the Container Expo to interact with partner demos and network with your peers at our evening social events on the 23rd of May.
