Heroes Happens Here Online

We are now less than 30 days away from launch and our online activities are now heating up.

Portrait Gallery Launched

Last week, we launched the HHH Portrait Gallery, a Silverlight 1.0 application which allows everyone and anyone to upload stories about themselves – showing why they are IT Heroes, what technology they are using, and which products are they most looking forward to.  Users can comment, link and send links to a friend.  Best of all we have 7 different languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese and Chinese) – so you can upload and search in these languages, switch between them and view how other people across the world are being IT Hero’s.  You can access this via the HHH site, or directly by visiting www.microsoft.com/heroeshappenhere/portraitgallery/start.aspx – please upload your profile information, as we want to get as many people as possible.

Virtual Launch Experience Preview

The Virtual Launch provides users access to keynote, all breakout sessions and representations of partner and Microsoft assets (such as booths etc) that will be at the LA event.  See a preview here.

Viral Blogging & Comic Update

Last week we also launched the blog of the HHH Web team.  This daily blog will highlight the nuts and bolts of the web and online strategy for launch, and will become a center pin in some of our viral outreaches. Further to this, as we are getting close to the HHH comic release, we will start posting more and more teasers to the blog page – make sure you sign yourself up to receive the RSS feed.
