Announcement: Configuration Manager Documentation Library Update for April 2014

The Documentation Library for System Center 2012 Configuration Manager has been updated on the web and the latest content has Updated: April 1, 2014 at the top of the topic.

This post also contains updates made in February and March. For these updates, you’ll also find the corresponding date at the top of the topic.

Added support for Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks)

Updated the .NET prerequisites for the Out of Band Service Point on Windows Server 2012 or later operating systems.

Prerequisites for Email Profiles in Configuration Manager

Clarified that if you want to generate the users email address in an email profile by using the users primary SMTP address, this address must exist in the mail attribute in Active Directory. Additionally, Configuration Manager user discovery must be configured to discover the mail attribute from Active Directory (this is configured by default).
