Email logging in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a service that allows email integration between Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.  With Dynamics NAV 2016, we’ve extended the service to allow connection to an Exchange Online system, either directly to Exchange Online or by the Exchange services provided through a suitable Office 365 account.

Email logging lets the users maintain information about current email messages in both Dynamics NAV and Outlook systems. It also lets the user, a salesperson or a purchaser, share and publish information that has been communicated to Dynamics NAV contacts.

Along with the support for Exchange Online, we’ve also fixed an issue that interfered with the discoverability of the public folders.  These are now discoverable from within Dynamics NAV.
