Introducing the Dynamics 365 Spring 18 update!

Digital transformation is washing across every industry presenting an opportunity for every business to use data and intelligence to transform their customer relationships, reimagine their products and services, streamline their operations and empower their people.

Last week in my blog post “Accelerating digital transformation with the spring 2018 release for Dynamics 365 and Business Application Platform”, and at our Business Forward event in Amsterdam, I spoke about the role data and intelligence plays in what we’ve termed the digital feedback loop connecting customers, products and people.

Today I invite you to join me, one of our early customers, CUNA Mutual, and members of my leadership team in a live webcast to see the Spring 18 Release of Dynamics 365 and our Business Application Platform in action. In this webcast, we’ll demonstrate key innovations and new capabilities delivered through our intelligent and integrated family of business applications spanning marketing, sales, service, operations, finance and talent. Together, and in concert with our business application platform and the broader Microsoft Cloud, they help our customers implement their own digital feedback loops, and provide the fastest path to digital transformation.

In addition to today’s webcast, we’ve also produced a collection of videos which provide more depth on what’s new across each service – so if you want to go deep, you can we’ve got you covered.

The Spring 18 Update of Dynamics 365 and our Business Application Platform will be generally available on April 2nd. The hundreds of new capabilities in Spring 18 are detailed in our release notes.

Microsoft Business Applications Summit

There is a large, rapidly growing and vibrant community of users, customers and partners who share a passion for all things Microsoft business applications – spanning Dynamics 365, Power BI, PowerApps and the rest of our business application platform. We’ve heard loud and clear your desire to come together on an annual basis – to share, to learn, and to be the first to know where we’re going and what’s coming next across this expansive collection of products and services.

Today we’re answering that call – I’m thrilled to announce the inaugural Microsoft Business Applications Summit which will take place in Seattle, July 22-24.

Organizations that can harness their data, turn it into insights, and then use those insights to drive intelligent action will lead their industries. The Microsoft Business Applications Summit is an in-depth look at how our broad collection of business intelligence, applications and platform offerings combine to make that possible. We’ll have something for everyone in the community – customer sessions for business leaders who want to understand what’s possible, engineering-led technical sessions for practitioners who want to dive really deep, and what’s coming sessions for those who want to get a jump start on our most cutting-edge technologies.

For those of you who attended the Data Insights Summit in years past, the Business Applications Summit is a more expansive and evolved continuation of that series.

We’re incredibly excited to kick off this annual event and look forward to welcoming our users, customers and partners to Seattle this summer.
